About the Role

As a Risk Manager at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for conducting model validations on internal and vendor models, ensuring they meet regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices. You will work closely with investment teams to ensure models remain fit for purpose and communicate findings and recommendations to model owners. Your expertise in quantitative risk management, model validation, or model development will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct model validations on internal and vendor models, ensuring they meet regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with investment teams to ensure models remain fit for purpose.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to model owners.
  • Assist in building benchmark models used across the model validation team.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in quantitative risk management, model validation, or model development.
  • Strong quantitative skills in programming languages such as R, SQL, C++, SAS, Python, MATLAB.
  • Good understanding of valuation methods, capital markets, portfolio theory, and risk management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Educated to post-graduate degree level in a quantitative field.
