Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Software Developer to join our team at Assyst GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our in-house web applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the development and maintenance of our in-house web applications and services using PHP, JavaScript, ReactJS, Perl, and Golang.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including network, virtualization, email, web, database, and file servers.
  • Automate IT standard tasks to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain our deployment system based on Ansible.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and assist in the implementation of new requirements.
  • Independently identify and resolve issues on network, operating system, database, and application levels.
  • Occasionally support our IT department in daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in computer science or a comparable education.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
  • Sound knowledge of network technology (standard protocols).
  • Good programming skills in multiple popular scripting languages.
  • Passion for developing web applications (full stack) with.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • Value a structured, analytical, and self-responsible working style.
  • Round out your profile with a high level of self-initiative and good communication skills.
