Key Responsibilities- Oversee the entire software lifecycle of banking applications, focusing on backend development.
- Design technical concepts and implement them in collaboration with the product owner, team members, and system architects.
- Utilize modern programming languages within established frameworks and various database technologies, with an emphasis on developing functional components in a microservices architecture.
- Engage in regular code reviews and collaborate with fellow developers.
- Assist the team in conducting unit tests, troubleshooting, maintenance, and providing third-level support.
- Exhibit a passion for clean code and modular development, with a commitment to refactoring for ongoing codebase improvement.
- Proven experience as a backend developer, particularly in developing microservice architectures.
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies, including Java, SpringBoot, Spring, and RESTful Web Services, along with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Openshift, Kubernetes), database systems (Db2, Oracle, SQL), CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Git), and collaboration platforms (M365, Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent programming skills in Java, SpringBoot, and Spring, with a solid understanding of RESTful Web Services and build tools.
- Fluent in German (minimum C1 level) and proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
- A strong sense of quality, an independent work ethic, and enthusiasm for agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
- Motivated and enthusiastic about interdisciplinary collaboration, grounded in an open, honest, and respectful team dynamic.
