Environmental Compliance Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager Energy and Environment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising our Energy Management and Compliance Programs across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach our plants and headquarters functions to comply with environmental management system and energy management system requirements.
- Work closely with our internal auditors to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Report on the performance of our energy management system, energy consumption, and cost of energy, as well as CO2 emissions and other strategic KPIs.
- Identify and evaluate energy reduction technologies and create a best practice knowledge repository.
- Develop a regional three-year energy reduction program and implement it across all EMEA locations.
- Establish a regional database for energy and sustainability data and ensure legal compliance.
- Work with risk assessment to develop a risk mitigation program driven by priorities.
- Be involved in regional sustainability programs and support the setup of environmental accruals with our finance team.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a similar field.
- Solid working experience in energy and/or environmental sustainability.
- Ideal certification as an Environmental and Energy Management Specialist.
- Ideal certification as an internal auditor.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Bonus: German and/or Spanish language skills.
