We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at DB InfraGO AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of environmental management systems across our locations in Hamburg and Kiel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance to executives and employees on environmental responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • System Development and Enhancement: Implement and enhance environmental management systems to optimize performance and reduce environmental impact.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, both internally and externally, to maintain a strong reputation and avoid potential risks.
  • Training and Collaboration: Conduct training sessions and collaborate with colleagues on environmental management projects to promote a culture of sustainability.
  • Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze and improve environmental performance through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Infrastructure Project Support: Contribute to the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet environmental standards and regulations.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in Integrated Management Systems and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Environmental Technology, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of waste management principles and practices, passion for environmental protection, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, adapt to new challenges, and demonstrate a strong commitment to agile work methods.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
