About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at SAP. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our research efforts, including planning, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of research studies, including interviews, media analysis, and surveys
  • Collaborate with team members to understand research requirements and objectives
  • Apply foresight approach to identify future trends and create scenarios
  • Analyze and interpret data using various research methods and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Support the preparation and presentation of research reports to internal teams and key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Corporate Foresight, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • Computer skills: MS office, video/audio editing skills are a plus, as is experience in online collaboration tools like Mural, Miro, etc.
  • Language skills: Strong communication and language skills, both written and verbal in English and German
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to summarize and interpret research findings
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcome challenges
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of research methods and their application in user experience research is welcome
