Job Title: Process Improvement Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Lead Engineer to join our team at JCW, a global leader in geothermal power plant development. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and ensuring the successful operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in safety evaluations, conceptual design, and plant layout to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Define technical specifications and select vendors for component development and procurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineering, design, process automation, and production/assembly, to drive process improvements and optimize plant performance.
  • Develop and maintain plant documentation, including technical specifications, operating procedures, and maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in advising potential clients and reviewing technical specifications to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer registration with APEGA.
  • 5-10 years of related experience in process engineering, with a focus on geothermal power plant development.
  • Experience with thermodynamic process modeling software, such as UniSim, HYSYS, or VMG.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, and programming languages (VBA, Python, R, or MATLAB).
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and directives, as well as process instrumentation and control.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
