This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the SAP Group General Ledger team at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft as a Lead SAP Engineer. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of global finance and management reporting systems, primarily based on SAP products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of SAP engineers in the design and development of technical software solutions for our SAP solutions, following our agile process model.
- Ensure the reliability and resiliency of solutions through good conception and appropriate testing throughout the entire life cycle of the delivery.
- Guide colleagues in ensuring the integration of high-quality solutions into existing processes and software solutions for our finance customers within the bank.
- Coordinate the work of Service Level 3 on self-developed and colleagues' software solutions, supporting in solving problems that arise in production.
- Design and program reporting solutions that enable our customers to create detailed analyses of financial figures, available to the board of directors and top management as control information.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a focus on IT or business administration, or comparable training/professional experience.
- Profound long-term professional experience in design and software development for the areas of group accounting/group planning or knowledge in setting up SAP BW solutions.
- Experience in the design and programming of complex software solutions in the platforms SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), SAP BPC or SAP BCS.
- Knowledge and experience with the SAP stack at Deutsche Bank are desirable.
- Experience in the design and software expansion of reporting solutions such as SAP Business Objects, Tableau or SAP SAC is desirable.
- Experience in the programming languages SAP ABAP Standard or ABAP Objects and / or Microsoft.NET / Blazor / VBA and / or Python.
- Analytical and technical competence as well as good communication skills in a multinational team and in collaboration with demanding internal bank customers.
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory.
