Director Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to lead our Quality and Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) initiatives in Europe. As the Director of QHSE, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices to promote a safe work environment and a zero-accident culture.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop your QHSE team, providing guidance on best practices and Nordex QHSE processes.
- Promote process standardization and performance standards, ensuring Division Europe requirements are considered for global standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Nordex HSE Leadership Team and Division Europe Management Team.
- Proactively improve our approach to HSE, working closely with management, employees, and their representatives.
- Develop and implement global HSE awareness campaigns within Division Europe regions.
- Ensure accurate and timely HSE reporting from regions/countries.
- Monitor and execute quality assurance in line with Corporate Quality Management standards.
Your Profile:
- University degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of experience in the wind industry or a comparable industry with QHSE requirements.
- Proven leadership experience in quality, health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Completed training as a safety specialist (desirable).
- Analytically strong, intrinsically motivated, and results-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-initiative and independent working style with ownership and accountability.
- Very good language skills in English (required), with additional languages like German or Spanish a plus.
