Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled master's student to contribute to our research team in the area of 3D scene understanding using 3D scene graphs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that involves the incremental construction and fusion of 3D scene graphs, with a focus on open-vocabulary 3D scene understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement novel algorithms for 3D scene graph prediction, focusing on architecture design, training data and loss design, model efficiency, or model application in a real-world environment.
- Evaluate the performance of the proposed models on open-source datasets and benchmark against state-of-the-art approaches.
- Demonstrate the capabilities of the developed models on real-world data using a suitable robotics platform.
- Collaborate with our research team to publish the results at peer-reviewed conferences.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a strong focus on machine learning and deep learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python or C++ and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Jax.
- Excellent knowledge of computer vision and robotics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English, with German being an advantage.
