Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, working closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, SQM, Logistics) to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Conduct market and demand analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and develop strategies to achieve these goals.
• Manage contracts and negotiate prices with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with SQM to develop and implement new and existing supplier relationships, ensuring optimal replenishment times, quality, and costs.
• Drive sustainability, digitalization, and process optimization initiatives within the procurement department.

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic procurement and/or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of relevant procurement tools (SAP MM, MS Office Suite).
• Proven experience in project management and collaboration with multifunctional teams.
• Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and supply chain management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and German.
