Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, supply chain, logistics)
• Manage contracts and negotiate prices for medium to large volumes, ensuring competitive conditions
• Conduct market and demand analyses to inform procurement decisions
• Prepare and execute sourcing decisions, considering total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal delivery times, quality, and costs
• Drive sustainability, digitalization, and process optimization initiatives within the procurement department

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic procurement and/or supply chain management, with expertise in relevant procurement tools (e.g., SAP MM, MS Office)
• Proven track record of working in project environments and collaborating with multifunctional teams
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in German and English
• International travel experience and adaptability
