Job Overview:

An exciting opportunity awaits a seasoned Chief Engineering Director to join our world-class end-to-end Tech organization at TechBiz Global GmbH. As a key member, you will leverage your expertise to drive innovative solutions and lead the Engineering team towards quick integration of FBA, DTC, eCommerce, Marketing, and Supply Chain data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Infrastructure, ERP, and Data Departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with other department heads to ensure seamless execution.
  • Foster a culture of building modular, flexible engineering products that meet customer needs.
  • Work closely with eCommerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Investment, and Legal departments to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Bolster Our Client's cloud stack, data engineering, and IT infrastructure to support strategic goals.

Key Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 7 years of management experience leading Tech Departments in scaling organizations as CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team of at least 20 people, preferably in a tech startup.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT, cloud infrastructure, software architecture, ERP Systems Integrations, Data Engineering, or related tech fields.
  • 4+ years of experience with Multi-Cloud Data Platform Technologies (preferably GCP and AWS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation for engineering projects.

A competitive salary range for this position is €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
