Transforming Public Sector Engagement

SAP is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Government Affairs efforts in Middle and Eastern Europe. As the Head of Government Affairs for this region, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with government officials and regulatory agencies, driving business growth and shaping policies that support our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute government affairs strategies to drive business growth and shape policies in the MEE region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders to advance SAP's interests.
  • Anticipate and analyze policy developments that impact SAP's business, providing expert advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and cultivate business development opportunities, aligning with SAP's strategic goals and organization-wide leadership directives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields, with a strong background in the tech industry.
  • Deep understanding of the political landscape in Germany and regulatory processes in governments at various levels.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Motivator of talent with proven experience leading high-performing teams on a global scale.
  • Native-level German language skills and fluency in English.
