About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Buyer to join our team at Penta Search Group. As a Senior Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supplier management and strategy from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct national and international supplier negotiations from A to Z, including preparation, implementation, and closing.
- Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, evaluation, and auditing.
- Procurement market analyses and global sourcing are not unknown topics for you, and you organize on the basis of tenders using digital purchasing tools.
- Initiate purchasing projects with suppliers in line with the purchasing strategy and are responsible for setting up, processing, and implementing the projects.
- Coordinate with various departments on needs and markets and support purchasing monitoring with regard to price development and expectations.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5+ years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing industrial company (Consumer/FMCG/Food/Personal Care/Chemical).
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Knowledge of the procurement market and challenges.
- Ready for occasional travel (Local, Regional, and Global).
- Hands-on mentality, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
- Team player with social skills and excellent communication skills.
- Resilient and flexible in your way of working.
- Structured, goal-oriented, and performance-oriented work style.
- Very good command of written and spoken English and German.
