Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Uniper. As a key member of our Procurement Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring best value-for-money procurement and maximizing business and project value for our day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes
- Manage business stakeholders across all Uniper operations, locally and internationally
- Collaborate closely with other Procurement functions, Business Solutions, Performance & Culture, and Digitalisation teams
- Perform day-to-day tasks in relevant systems & tools, including SAP, SAP Ariba, and Ivalua e-Sourcing
- Manage Uniper suppliers to ensure competitive contracts and reliable supplies
- Manage Contracts & Claims where required
- Excellent education in economics or a similar field
- Several years of experience in Procurement, preferably in the Energy Industry
- Experience in using SAP, SAP Ariba, and relevant platforms (e.g., eVergabe) is a plus
- High intrinsic motivation with a self-driven working style
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders, their conflicting requirements, and cross-functional overlaps
- Ideal experience in working in an international environment
- Working proficiency in English, German communication skills (minimum C1) for the German office required, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
