About the Role:
We are seeking a German- and English-speaking Procurement Specialist to support our team full-time, for an engagement lasting 4 months, with the possibility of extension. This role involves hands-on work in sourcing, procurement data analysis, and managing RFP processes, with a focus on achieving strategic and operational procurement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sourcing activities and develop sourcing strategies for various categories.
Analyze procurement data to generate insights and support decision-making.
Manage RFP processes, including creating templates, consolidating and analyzing responses, and handling negotiations and contracting.
Conduct strategic and operational procurement tasks aligned with our initiatives.
Qualifications:
Fluency in German and English.
Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, with a results-driven approach.
Skilled in procurement data analysis to support strategic goals.
Experience handling RFP processes from start to finish, including template creation and contract negotiations.
Familiarity with indirect spend categories such as temporary labor, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), tools, and forklifts.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
