About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Flowserve. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our supplied products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of supplied products and services to ensure compliance with delivery specifications.
- Supplier Performance: Ensure that supplier indicators are met, communicate with quality and other departments regarding product quality, and prepare and track complaints until effective implementation of corrective actions is proven.
- Preventive Quality: Participate in the supplier selection process and support in complex projects based on APQP.
- Supplier Evaluation: Prepare and coordinate supplier evaluations with other departments and global supplier quality management to ensure achievement of Flowserve targets.
- Normative Requirements: Ensure compliance with normative requirements such as Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX, and SIL when delivering supplier documentation to customers.
Requirements:
- Education: Completed studies with a technical focus and specialization in quality management or training in a technical profession with further qualification as a technician and specialization in quality management.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position, preferably in a metalworking company.
- Skills: Auditor qualification and/or certification desirable, communication and negotiation skills in German and English, strong hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of common MS Office applications and SAP, willingness to travel worldwide, and knowledge of normative requirements such as Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX requirements, SIL requirements, and quality methods.
