Business Operations Specialist

Join the U.S. Army Europe and Africa team as a Business Operations Specialist, responsible for analyzing and improving managerial policies, practices, methods, and procedures. As a key member of the Directorate of Business, you will provide management advice to program managers and subordinate units, leveraging your expertise in social sciences, engineering, and cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business plans, strategies, and long-range program goals
- Conduct research and analysis of current business practices and trends
- Assist in the development of plans to organize maintenance, supply, distribution, and transportation production activities
- Participate in the assessment of business practices, processes, procedures, and organizational structures
- Develop and implement requirement packages for equipment modernization and investments
Applicants must have 2 years of creditable experience in clerical work, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events, or as a cashier. Additionally, experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered is required.
Benefits:This is a temporary part-time position (20 hrs/week) until return of permanent incumbent, not to exceed 30-SEP-2027. The position may be filled at the C-6a or at the full performance level, C-07. The incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher or full performance level in accordance with regulatory requirements.
