GMV is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team as a Spacecraft Operations Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting satellite operations, including preparation, validation, and execution of operations inside the control room.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the health and performance of spacecraft subsystems, including data handling, TTC, and payload, throughout various mission phases.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the spacecraft by providing technical expertise, real-time operational support, and continuous subsystem performance monitoring and analysis.
  • Support routine, special, and contingency operations during LEOP, PF Commissioning, IOT, and routine phases.
  • Develop and write operational procedures.
  • Define and implement validation scenarios for operational readiness.
  • Perform validation, testing, and result reporting for Flight Operations Procedures (FOP).
  • Prepare for and participate in spacecraft validation tests (SVTs) and simulations.
  • Test and validate operational items.
  • Handle anomaly reports, including writing, action processing, and support of review boards.
  • Offer on-call support for assigned subsystems during routine operations.
  • Conduct offline analysis of subsystem performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.
  • Contribute to mission planning and operational documentation.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar field.
  • Relevant experience as a Spacecraft Controller or Spacecraft Operations Engineer.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft operations.
  • Open to occasional business trips.
