About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Real Estate team in Munich. This role will require presence in the Munich office and will involve working closely with other members of the Macquarie Asset Management's Real Estate tax team to deliver transaction tax structuring advice and tax planning, pre- and post- transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing a mix of corporate income tax, VAT and transfer pricing reports
  • Working closely with other members of the Macquarie Asset Management's Real Estate tax team
  • Liaising with, and coordinating, local services providers including administrators and tax advisors
  • Delivering the tax requirements for the production of financial statements, monitoring and reporting of relevant tax law changes, and where necessary, handling tax authority audits
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in international and/or German taxation
  • Strong understanding of tax structuring
  • Fluent in both German and English with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority
  • Have intermediate or advanced skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
