Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at KBR. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies. You will establish and communicate completion dates for deliverables, verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain related records.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies
- Establish and communicate completion dates for deliverables
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain related records
- Stamp identifying information and shipping instructions on containers
- Contact vendors to requisition materials and verify shipment of goods on promised dates
- Arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival
- Inspect products for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications
- Work to meet schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction
- Resolve most questions and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level of support
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of directly related work experience. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
