About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Manager to lead our international pension projects aimed at risk reduction through plan design, funding, or investment strategies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing pension projects, optimizing the pension landscape in accordance with our corporate strategy, and overseeing the project lifecycle from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead international pension projects to reduce risk through plan design, funding, or investment strategies
  • Evaluate and assess pension projects, focusing on their impact on the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and risk position
  • Optimize the pension landscape in line with our corporate strategy and oversee the project lifecycle
  • Advise and support Regional Pension Management in implementing pension governance, guidelines, and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines in areas such as funding, investment management, accounting & controlling, and financial service providers
  • Support local pension plan/trust management in selected countries, evaluating HR activities and supporting asset performance & risk monitoring, investment management, budget and forecast processes, and annual/monthly accounting closure
  • Establish a strong network with local contacts and oversee pension plan funding, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and strategies
  • Support governance, strategic, and M&A projects, as well as other pension functions, as needed
  • Create monthly/quarterly/annual closings for pension (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, disclosures) and a forecast, including analysis, plausibility checks, and correction of reported data
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics, business administration, or mathematics
  • First years of experience in project management or pension management, or HR, with ideal experience in auditing or an international actuarial role
  • Project management experience related to occupational pensions
  • Knowledge in performance and risk controlling, as well as IFRS pension accounting
  • Excellent international team and project skills
  • Results-oriented, analytical, and empathetic
  • Proficiency in German and English
