Job Summary
OSB AG is seeking a highly skilled Verification and Certification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Propulsion IPT, you will be responsible for the development of the Propulsion system, its parts and assemblies, throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Propulsion system V&V plan, ensuring complete verification of requirements.
- Author test plans and work with the Test team to execute them, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Negotiate with certification authorities for the definition of Means of Compliance, qualification and certification activities.
- Create certification strategies and compliance reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Interact with multidisciplinary individuals and departments to define, document and execute V&V activities, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Manage requirements through their lifecycle, ensuring their complete verification and validation.
- Support the development of the propulsion system, its parts and assemblies, throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Requirements
- University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MSc/M.Eng preferred – equivalents may be considered depending on industry experience).
- In-depth relevant professional experience in the aerospace industry, with a focus on verifying/certifying aircraft (propulsion) systems.
- Experience in planning, developing and managing V&V activities, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Hands-on experience of defining and executing Propulsion test activities, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent understanding of general design principles and related functional topics, with a focus on ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Awareness of Part 21J contents and requirements, with a focus on ensuring compliance.
- Fluent English and German language skills, with a focus on effective communication.
