We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Country Manager to lead the launch of our pet insurance vertical in France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all operations within the French market, ensuring the successful launch of our pet insurance product while developing and leading a local team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the launch of our pet insurance vertical in France, ensuring timely and successful market entry.
- Oversee and manage operations in the French market, including profitability, revenue, cash flow, and quality targets.
- Develop and lead a local team with operational roles in sales, customer service, and claims management.
- Conduct market analysis and adapt business strategies to meet market and customer needs.
- Act as an intermediary between central core services and local business needs, ensuring alignment.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including Zurich Germany & Group.
- Represent the French market within and outside the company.
Requirements:
- Completed bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in fast-paced environments (e.g., startups, consulting).
- Strong experience in the insurance industry (Insurtech, consulting, or similar projects).
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- In-depth knowledge of French business practices and culture, ideally with expertise in the French insurance market.
- Fluent in French (C2 level or native) and English (C1 level). German is a plus.
