Project Manager for Renewable Energy Development

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at BELECTRIC Solar & Battery. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of renewable energy projects from initial planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including site acquisition, project analysis, and risk assessment
  • Coordinate with external consultants and service providers to ensure project delivery
  • Present project updates to stakeholders, including community meetings and government events
  • Manage the permitting process and negotiate with regulatory bodies and local authorities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project developers, business partners, and external advisors
  • Oversee the coordination of project activities, including planning, design, and economic calculations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, project developers, business partners, and external advisors
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as renewable energy, landscape or environmental planning, architecture, or business administration
  • Strong passion for renewable energy and sustainability
  • Experience in negotiating and concluding lease and permit agreements
  • Must have: several years of experience in project development/project management in the renewable energy sector
  • Must have: experience in site acquisition and route planning, as well as permitting and regulatory processes
  • Nice to have: experience in the development and operation of photovoltaic or wind power plants
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language skills
  • Your skills: communicative team player with negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and independent, conceptual working methods
  • National travel requirements (approx. 30%)
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
