Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for managing and further innovating Corporate Compliance best practices in an agile gaming and e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and further innovate Corporate Compliance best practices in an agile gaming and e-commerce environment.
  • Support different compliance subject matter experts, including IT Security and regulatory compliance.
  • Support different business units under ZEAL managing compliance risk and ensuring the company complies with common compliance standards applicable to publicly listed companies in Germany.
  • Continuously develop our Compliance Management System and ensure it aligns with our agile and cross-functional work approach.
  • Draft and update compliance policies and align them with the business and Senior Management.
  • Train and educate stakeholders on how to apply compliance best practices.
  • Train, educate, and present risk management processes and topics in a compelling way to different groups of stakeholders.
  • Support the Group Compliance Officer.
  • Legal background is a plus, as you will be part of the legal department.

Requirements

  • Multi-year experience as a Compliance Manager.
  • Academic background (law is a plus).
  • A strong background in digital, IT, e-Commerce B2C business.
  • A professional user of Governance Risk and Compliance software tools.
  • Strong communication skills to transport formal compliance topics to a broad group of different stakeholders.
  • You are pragmatic where possible and strict where necessary.
  • You feel comfortable taking decisions, inventing creative best practices, and recommending business-driven solutions to Senior Management.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing business-enabling solutions.
  • You like to take on accountability and enjoy an independent way of working while also being a 100% team player.
  • Gambling, legal, and regulatory experience is a plus, but not a must.
  • You thrive in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and can communicate in German and English fluently.
