Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor

King and Moffatt is seeking a highly skilled Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our EHSQ department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015.
  • Develop and implement effective RAMS and task-specific SPAs to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Investigate and follow up on all non-compliances, accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with EHSQ policies and procedures.
  • Report on EHSQ performance and make recommendations to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Collate accident statistics and undertake trend analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge, including membership to IOSH and attendance at educational conferences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health and Safety.
  • Knowledge of third-party accreditations and manual handling trainer and VDU assessor qualifications.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and willingness to travel if required.
