About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our tech team in Leipzig, Germany. As a key member of our infrastructure monitoring web applications team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and efficient systems on AWS for internal Amazon customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new monitoring services for our worldwide operations
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of new and current systems
  • Program with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure well-architected software and a positive team environment
Requirements
  • Professional software development experience
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
