About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team at Ottobock. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative compensation and benefits concepts that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation and benefits analyses to inform strategic decisions and drive competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain our function evaluation system to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices.
  • Lead the annual global salary round and bonus round, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage projects related to remuneration instruments, including salary benchmarking and job evaluation.
  • Design and implement rules and processes for job evaluations, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Develop and execute employee communication strategies to promote C&B measures and foster a positive employee experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with co-determination committees, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Participate in works council negotiations on C&B projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Establish and lead a global C&B community to share best practices and drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field, with several years of experience in HR Compensation and Benefits.
  • Proven expertise in salary benchmarking, job evaluation, bonus and incentive systems, preferably on an international level.
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability to changing topics, interests, and requirements.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with a high affinity for numbers and a structured approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to drive projects forward successfully.
  • Very good German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
