Job Description

As a District Manager at Levi Strauss & Co., you will be responsible for driving revenue and EBIT by achieving and exceeding KPIs for a cluster of stores. You will demonstrate a business owner behavior, building, developing, and leading a high-performing team of store managers. Your focus will be on exceeding business objectives, delivering excellent and consistent Brand Standards of Customer service and shopping experience.

Critical Results

Key outputs and actions necessary to achieve job purpose and list actions that must be performed to achieve the critical results:

  • Recruit, assess, and lead store management and provide direct and concrete feedback.
  • Analyze, drive, monitor store targets and KPIs, ensure they are known and in control of store managers, and clearly set roles and responsibilities among store staff teams.
  • Identify business opportunities to increase store revenue and profitability, build, and implement action plans to seize them.
  • Ensure a great shopping experience for all customers to reinforce Brand image and increase conversion rate.
  • Know visual merchandising standards and guidelines and ensure they are maintained at store level, working within the defined frame to react to business needs.
  • Act as a Brand ambassador, sharing passion and knowledge with store staff, equipping them with relevant training on the Brand, company, and products, and monitoring the use of these assets in customer relationships.
  • Supervise the consistent implementation of processes, guidelines, and tools required by Levi's to meet operational standards.
  • Ensure right stock coverage in stores and share feedback to Store Planning & Merchandising team on store grading and product needs when needed.
  • Support Store Manager in maximizing payroll costs and optimizing staff scheduling to improve staff productivity.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the geographical area by adopting a 360-degree approach, using all levers to build an effective synergy in the store, and supporting expansion and portfolio management.
  • Hire, develop, and manage store managers passionate about the brand, sales-oriented, and focused on achieving targets.
  • Coach store managers on the shop floor and in specific 1-to-1 sessions to develop their skills.
  • Provide store staff with trainings and product information to support them in telling stories to clients.
  • Train and share best practices with Franchisees' DM to ensure compliance to Levi's standards.
  • Lead by example to ensure store teams engage and inspire all clients with a distinct and personalized service, always keeping KPIs in mind.
  • Develop high potential and high talents by assigning them on specific projects, providing additional trainings, giving them more visibility in the affiliate and in HQ.

Travel Percentage:

  • 70-80% (in-store) 30-20% (in-office)
