Army General Rotary Wing Aircraft Mechanic UH-60, CH-47, AH-64

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on UH-60, CH-47, and AH-64 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including engines, rotors, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
- Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
- Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
- Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment.
- Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and aircraft ground support equipment.
- Apply technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems.
- Maintain and repair aircraft components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience is required for Germany (TESA) approval.
- A Valid FAA A&P certificate OR FCC License (with Elements 1 and 3) is Required.
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Govt Clearance and/or the NAC-I T1 Public Trust.
- Valid US Passport for deployment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Security Clearance, (NAC-I T1) Public Trust.

- Possess good communication skills.
- Be adaptable, diversified, and capable of troubleshooting entire aircraft systems.
- Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and associated systems principles.
- Able to determine when faulty systems or assemblies can be corrected through repair or replacement of new parts.
- Must be able to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- Frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.
