Army General Rotary Wing Aircraft Mechanic UH-60, CH-47, AH-64

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on UH-60, CH-47, and AH-64 aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using technical documentation and specialized tools.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize aircraft performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on rotary wing aircraft.
- Valid FAA A&P certificate or FCC License (with Elements 1 and 3).
- US Citizenship required for security clearance and deployment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Amentum requires all employees to obtain and maintain a US Govt Security Clearance, NAC-I T1 Public Trust. US Citizenship is required for clearance and deployment.
Additional Requirements- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and associated systems principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including aircraft Technical Manuals and Maintenance Information.
