As a Global Data Steward - Product Data Model Sales & Service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of product data across all sales and service locations. This position requires a strong understanding of data management principles and governance, as well as experience with SAP systems and material variant configuration.
Key Responsibilities- Support the S/4 HANA implementation project in the area of product sales variants configuration, including data analysis, requirements gathering, and transformation rules alignments.
- Define and implement globally harmonized Product Data Model throughout all Sales & Service locations.
- Implement and improve processes related to Data Quality Management, including defining standards, guidelines, and procedures at global and EMEA level.
- Identify and coordinate data cleansing activities, and develop concepts for further data quality improvements.
- Collect, develop, harmonize, and align new requirements for product data model, and document data-related processes, standards, and changes.
- Bachelor's degree in (technical) economics, e.g. in business informatics, industrial engineering or business administration, or a similar practical experience in a related field.
- SAP system knowledge and practical experience, ideally R3 and S/4 HANA, especially with material variant configuration, material and material-related data objects.
- Understanding of data management principles and data governance, as well as practical experience in data management.
- Strong affinity for data and understanding of the connections between business processes and data flows across multiple IT systems and applications.
- Attractive compensation package, including compensation according to the collective agreement of IG-Metall, special payments, and a company performance-related annual bonus.
