At Danaher, we're committed to advancing the field of clinical microbiology and improving patient outcomes. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of our microbiology diagnostics instruments and solutions.
About the Role
This position is part of our Beckman Coulter Microbiology Team, responsible for providing expert support to customers in Germany. As a Clinical Microbiology Specialist, you'll collaborate with our sales team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, provide training and technical support, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical microbiology, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training.
- Provide on-site or remote training to laboratory staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Assist customers in setting up and optimizing laboratory workflows for efficient and accurate microbiology testing.
- Conduct product installations, validations, and performance verifications at customer sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices.
- Experience working in a clinical microbiology laboratory, preferably with hands-on experience with microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in IVD-Industry application support
- Good understanding of lab IT environment
