At Danaher, we're committed to advancing the field of clinical microbiology. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of our microbiology diagnostics instruments and solutions.
About the Role
This position is part of our Beckman Coulter Microbiology Team, located in Germany, and will be fully remote. As a Clinical Microbiology Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing expert support to customers, ensuring they get the most out of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical microbiology, providing in-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training.
- Provide on-site or remote training to laboratory staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Assist customers in setting up and optimizing laboratory workflows for efficient and accurate microbiology testing.
- Conduct product installations, validations, and performance verifications at customer sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices.
- Experience working in a clinical microbiology laboratory, preferably with hands-on experience with microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
