Service Leader

Job Summary
The EMEA Service Lead for Leica Biosystems is responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for capital equipment issues, while improving overall department efficiency and performance.
This position is part of the Global Service Organization and will be based in Quickborn, Germany. You will be a part of the Global Service Organization and report to the Senior Manager, Global Service Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize daily management activities and KPIs to monitor progress and continuously improve service center operations and operational efficiencies.
- Help to define and execute project scope, goals and deliverables in coordination with management and key stakeholders.
- Lead and support the execution of Environmental Health and Safety projects for service in support of site goals.
- Several years' experience in a service or manufacturing environment required.
- Knowledge with ERP systems required with specific proficiency in SAP preferred.
- 10% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations.
- Fluent in German and in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the medical device industry and familiarity with FDA regulated environment would be a plus.
