Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at CBRE GWS IFM Industrie GmbH. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of all contractually agreed facility management services to maintain site operations, considering CBRE's internal cost and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with KPIs such as response and completion time for GE Vernova in Berlin and Dresden.
- Ensure proper documentation in the work order management system (SI7) and develop reports to client as appropriate.
- Responsible for compliance with national and local codes and regulations, including fire and life safety, environmental, or industry/client specific third-party compliance standards.
- Responsible for the application of CBRE and GE QHSE standards and procedures.
- Identify and manage cost reductions in line with client agreed contractual commitments.
- Manage vendor service level performance working with sourcing colleagues to identify new vendors when appropriate.
- Serve as point-person for all escalations for day-to-day office operations responsibilities, procedures, and services, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment, security, supplies, mailing/shipping, maintenance, installation, and repairs.
- Responsible for supervising IFM staff assigned to the Berlin and Dresden sites, recommending staff recruitment, corrective action, and termination if required, preparing and delivering performance appraisals, mentoring, and coaching team members to further develop competencies.
- Responsible for safety functions, including emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, business continuity, and evacuation procedures and plans, actively promoting working safely and the importance of safe working practices.
- Responsible for developing/monitoring client IFM budgets and reporting financial information to the line manager in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify, analyze, and manage service bottlenecks and operational risks.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facility management, business administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in facility management, with a focus on site supervision and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
