Temporary Employment Opportunity

Internship - Mechanisms and Robotics - Engine Test Setup (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Design and set up a permanent motor test stand for various types of actuators used in space mechanisms
  • Select and procure commercial components for the test stand
  • Implement existing measurement equipment and programming a common control GUI
  • Conduct tests to provide input for correlation with existing actuator performance models
  • Prepare documentation and maintain a laboratory for integration and test of mechanisms and breadboard models
  • Support the Mechanisms & Robotics team

Your Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in engineering studies, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar
  • Basic knowledge in API programming and ability to understand, characterize, and size electromechanical systems
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken, and knowledge of MS Office tools
