About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the development of an engineering tool for high voltage switchgear design. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the project, defining the solution, and ensuring technical quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a technical strategy for the engineering tool
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop the tool
  • Ensure the tool meets Siemens Energy's engineering objectives
  • Address risks and opportunities during project execution
  • Be an ambassador for engineering process automation

Requirements

  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a software solution architect or comparable role
  • Longstanding hands-on experience working with product teams
  • Excellent analytical skills and expertise in making data-driven decisions
  • Proven experience in application architecture design within the engineering domain
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLM Teamcenter and experience in technical designing solutions
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of German on B2 level
