Job Title: Purchasing IT Business Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing IT Business Owner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the development of the IT governance concept for procurement, ensuring the effective implementation of modern purchasing solutions for S2C and P2O.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the IT governance concept for procurement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and evaluate new purchasing solutions outside of SAP and their necessary interfaces to SAP.
  • Validate and implement IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Support the introduction of IT solutions and corresponding training measures in Purchasing.
  • Monitor and improve the IT tools used and the digitalization of processes.
  • Coordinate and support the creation of IT business requests.
  • Maintain existing data sources with regard to data quality issues.
  • Manage key users for IT applications in Purchasing.
  • Perform regular market observations and follow current IT trends in the purchasing environment.
  • Manage one or more external IT service providers.
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree program.
  • Several years of professional experience in supply chain, purchasing, and logistics, as well as the corresponding IT tools.
  • Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and achieve results.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.
