Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Dental Assistant, you will perform a wide range of reversible intra-oral dental procedures under the direction of the dentist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restores teeth prepared by dentist with permanent and temporary fillings
  • Supports dentist in endodontic treatments
  • Takes preliminary impressions for study models
  • Retracts gingiva from tooth for final impressions
  • Assists in surgical treatment
  • Performs oral prophylaxis on ambulatory patients
  • Instructs patients in oral hygiene and brushing techniques
Requirements
  • Completed an apprenticeship of at least 36 months as "Zahnmedizinische/r Fachangestellte/r"
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Office Automation Skills
  • English and German Language Proficiency Level B2
