Director of Global Sourcing

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Global Sourcing to lead our Procurement Direct Material International team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a global procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Lead the Procurement Direct Material International team to achieve business targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective supply chain management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in the automotive industry or mechanical and plant engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of global markets and trends
