Job Opportunity: Private Debt Investment Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Private Debt investment team as an intern. As a Private Debt Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and screening investment opportunities, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and supporting deal execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and screen investment opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of business opportunities;
  • Compose investment committees' memoranda and credit papers;
  • Financial modelling and valuation analysis;
  • Assessment of business, financial and industry due diligence;
  • Deal execution support and portfolio monitoring.

Requirements

  • Solid academic track record: pursuing a relevant Bachelor or Master's degree in a top-ranking university;
  • Previous experience in investment banking, transaction services, private debt or private equity;
  • Proven interest in the finance industry, particularly in private equity or private debt;
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office), in particular Excel; financial modelling skills is an advantage;
  • Excellent language skills in English and German; fluency in other European languages is a plus, especially French or Spanish;
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail;
  • Self-starter with an independent working style;
  • Self-motivated and pro-active team player.
