Your Role as Paralegal within the Team
You will be a Paralegal who enjoys a variety of different topics, is enthusiastic to use digital contracting tools, and to improve processes. The position gives you the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, to work in a paper-free legal department, to train on the job, and to grow within a team of highly skilled colleagues.
Your Responsibilities
- Support GetYourGuide's legal team members in Berlin, New York, and Zurich, including contract automation and administration using legal tech tools.
- Review standard contracts, including NDAs and others, and implement and update templates.
- Manage IP-related third-party complaints, including alignment with tech and content teams.
- Maintain data privacy (GDPR) documentation and processes.
- Manage centralized contract signature and archiving process using e-signature tools.
Requirements
- You are based in Berlin or are willing to relocate.
- You have a legal background with very good credentials or a non-legal degree combined with relevant work experience in an in-house legal team or similar.
- You have 3+ years of work experience, ideally with a track record in contract automation, document or filing management.
- You take interest in commercial and contract law and wish to train in reviewing of standard contracts.
- You are an enthusiastic user of legal tech tools and confident using G Suite, MS Office, DocuSign, Jira, etc.
