Job Description

As a key member of our team at EDEKA Boekhoff, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Abteilungsleitung to lead our Obst and Gemüse department.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire process of inventory management, from receiving and storing goods to selling and ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Abteilungsleitung or in a similar leadership role in the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fresh produce and ability to make informed decisions about inventory management and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
