About the Role:
SMP is seeking a highly skilled Energy and Automation Technician for Building Technology to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our building management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate facilities into our building management system to optimize energy consumption and reduce costs.
- Ensure the technical availability of supply and operating systems, and implement measures to optimize their performance.
- Coordinate and supervise internal and external services, working closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Visualize and automate supply process technology, including monitoring and evaluating systems, and diagnosing issues.
- Develop and implement process optimization measures for supply systems, focusing on energy management and efficiency.
- Organize and monitor maintenance, repair, and maintenance of all technical supply and operating systems, as well as property and buildings.
- Commission and coordinate external companies and spare parts orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with our mechatronics technicians to develop work instructions and provide training.
Requirements:
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician, electrician, or electronics technician, with further training as an industrial master electrician or comparable qualification, and extensive professional experience.
- Relevant work experience in an industrial plant, with a strong understanding of energy management principles.
- Knowledge of energy management according to ISO 50001, and practical experience in process optimization and personnel responsibility.
- Strong analytical thinking, passion, creativity, dedication, and flexibility, with a high level of motivation and perseverance in complex tasks and challenges.
- Willingness to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
- Structured work planning and implementation, with excellent communication skills and strong organizational ability.
- Independent and team-oriented work approach, with proficiency in Siemens, S7, PLC, Eplan, WinCC, MS Office, and SAP.
- Basic knowledge of English, and a valid driver's license Class B.
