We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Trader to join our team at Encavis AG. Based in Hamburg, Germany, this role offers the opportunity to shape the energy transition by making renewable energy economically viable.

Your RoleAs a Renewable Energy Trader, you will be responsible for short-term trading processes, analyzing relevant data, and optimizing dashboard solutions and reporting applications. You will also be the central point for analyses on trading execution and optimization strategies, supporting our trading team in implementing these strategies. Your tasks will include working with large datasets from various fields, including solar and wind park data, trade and market data, data modeling, and integration, as well as monitoring and optimizing central data flows in our portfolio management platform.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have a university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Ideally, you should have at least one year of professional experience in the German energy market or other European energy trading markets. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, QuickSight, and data modeling is required, as well as experience with common SQL databases and cloud data platforms. Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration tools, and DBT is an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English and German are essential.
