About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer - Luxury Goods to join our team at Buying Labs GmbH. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring premium and luxury fashion brands for our global network of customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing third-party brands and understanding customer needs to ensure optimal performance through assortment, trends, and brand selection
  • Monitoring and reviewing the performance of your unit, including KPIs and budget planning
  • Conducting and participating in condition negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and acquiring premium or luxury fashion retailers and boutiques across Europe
  • Building and expanding business relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Managing and further developing existing supplier partnerships to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as Business Development, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure alignment with the entire organization
Requirements
  • A degree in textiles or business administration or a comparable training
  • Professional experience in international fashion buyer positions (third-party brands)
  • A strong passion for fashion and buying, ideally with a supplier network in the fashion industry (luxury or premium)
  • An existing industry network is desirable
  • An independent and team-oriented work style, along with a high degree of enthusiasm and presentation skills
  • A communicative personality with strong negotiating skills and the ability to build and develop effective business relationships
  • Business fluency in English and German (both written and spoken)
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office products
