Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Control Manager to join our team at Uniper SE. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our construction sites and power plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and support to construction site management and specialist project management on quality assurance matters
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality assurance queries
  • Monitor deliveries and services, including coordination with external inspectors and assessors
  • Develop and maintain the quality assurance plan, ensuring timely implementation and collaboration with construction site management
  • Implement and execute ITP processes, including attending hold points in production
  • Ensure compliance with quality processes and conduct regular inspections and site visits
  • Initiate additional quality assurance measures for specific findings and discoveries
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in quality management and quality assurance
  • Strong organizational skills and familiarity with Project Management Systems and Document Management Systems
  • Construction site experience, preferably in power plant construction or plant engineering
  • NDT experience according to ISO 9712 and certification as an International Welding Engineer, Welding Technician, or Welding Specialist (desirable)
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a high level of reliability
  • Willingness to undertake long-term assignments locally and internationally
